Maori Hill Complete Villa Renovation
This client purchased an original 1885 villa in Maori Hill and wanted to transform the existing house into a modern and functional home. The renovation was extremely well designed for the site, with the expansive windows and doors cleverly placed to maximise the sun and tranquil view.
M A Building completed all of the building work and installed two heatpumps; extensive insulation in the walls, ceiling and underfloor, double-glazed windows and doors and a new roof.
The master bedroom included a walk-around wardrobe and an ensuite where the tiles, vanity, wall mirror and lights added wow factor. The timber vanity was custom-made by Mark from the timber removed in the demolition stage.
Bedroom two and three share the luxurious main bathroom where Mark and his team designed an open bath and shower area which formed the highlight of this room. Another timber vanity created from existing timber in the house also adds a touch of warmth to the space.
The kitchen featured quality appliances, a caesar stone bench-top and a bi-fold window which opened out to a bespoke bar. The indoor-outdoor flow is carried on with the spacious dining and living area having two sets of stacker doors opening out to two separate decks. One deck is a fabulous spot to have a morning coffee, while the other becomes an extension of the interior.
The end result is a private and sheltered home and many great times are ensured here for the client and their friends and family.
